Favorite Set from 2022!
This is an absolutely FANTASTIC set! Definitely my favorite set from 2022 so far, across several themes. The detail of this build is wonderful. He looks exactly like BD-1 in Fallen Order, and there's just something so inquisitive and charming about him when he's all finished.
Absolutely thrilled with him. I stretched the build out over three days because I was having so much fun bringing him to life. Great job, LEGO!
(I hope BD-1 is an indicator of a few more Fallen Order sets to come! I would love a Stinger Mantis, or maybe a display set showcasing Zeffo, Kashyyyk or Dathomir.)

BD-1 has been on of my favorite side characters in Star Wars media ever since Jedi: Fallen Order first released and I've wanted a set based on him as well. This set is all I could have wanted! A striking display piece, the set is mostly true to BD-1's design in the game. Using whips as wires is also one of my favorite build techniques that I've seen this year!
My main complaints with the set are the shape of the feet, which are way too big but easily modifiable, and the stim container, which doesnt open enough to let you take them out. Both of which are extremely minor, however reduce the play experience score.
Overall, the set stays true to the design of the character and is a pleasing building experience for all. Highly recommend! Would love to see more Jedi: Fallen Order sets to go along with this set :)

Loved it
Pre ordered the set, since stores are getting cleared out. Arrived on the 2nd. This set is a very fun little build, very compact, with wonderful detail. Non repetitive, with some very wonderful articulation points. Head poses well, legs are sturdy and the hidden compartment is perfect. Overall a must have for any Star Wars collectors. Very happy to have pre ordered.

Droid With Personality
BD-1 was an unexpected surprise being that he is from a Star Wars video game. It has some minor posing options which are great for display with personality. The size of BD-1 is bigger than I thought— though he’s a bit more wobbly than I predicted as well (legs and head). I put this together in two nights. After getting the legs done, it’s a quick build.

Top 3 SW Set
Had a great time building this set and really enjoy the size of the build. Perfect to have sitting on my desk next to me. Makes work video calls more enjoyable when people recognize BD. Would love to have more Fallen Order sets.

Very good build and display piece
Mainly got it to put on display, and it looks great on display. I wouldn’t recommend it as a play product, and it is a bit expensive for what you get, but overall a very good looking set

Fun build
I am a fan of Lego, Star Wars, and the video game Jedi Fallen Order. Building my in game companion was fun and a satisfying build overall. The one downside I think is that there is only one color scheme option out of the box. I may have to search out pieces to customize my BD-1 to more match my in game preferred color scheme. I think this is a great droid to replicate in Lego because it is almost actual size when built. The other droids like R2 and even D-O have to be scaled down to be a reasonable price. Since BD-1 is smaller the Lego version feels like an exact replica.
