Never worked as it should
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so excited to get this as he loves anything with fire trucks. The fire monster truck was his favorite part of the toy and he loved that the ladder moved up and down. Unfortunately that was the only thing that really worked. No matter how many times and in different positions we put the monster truck, we were never able to get it to crash into the target. First he got frustrated because you need to have one hand on the launch and the other to hold the toy down otherwise it'll lift up. But even doing that, we were never able to get it to hit the target. He's happy with the monster truck but unfortunately the toy overall is a dud for us.

Fun new fire monster truck set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 and 6 year old sons had a great time together with this set. The pull back launcher is easy enough for them to use and the pieces fit well together. The yellow flames do have a tendency to pop off when hit but are very easily put back on. The track entrance and exit spots are numerous enough that you can connect this set to other Hot Wheels sets. The ladder on the fire engine is moveable which is a pretty cool feature. Over all this set is well made and easy to assemble. I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

My son loves it!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love the monster trucks at our house and this set is one that we didn’t have. My son picked it out himself and it was really easy to put together. There wasn’t to many parts like most hot wheels sets which was a big plus for me!! The instructions were really simple and easy to understand. One I got it all set him he took it outside to play with his other monster trucks. He really liked this one because it came with the fire truck!! Definitely recommend if you have a monster truck loving kid like mine!!

Launch into fun with this Hot Wheels toy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really like this Hot Wheels Monster Truck Arena Smashers toy! It wasn't too hard to assemble. We just added the stickers and clicked the pieces together. The yellow fire on the set and the ladder on the fire truck were great details. When it was time to launch, this toy did not disappoint. It reminded them of a real monster truck show trick. Make sure you pull the lever as far back as possible for maximum launching power! So glad to add this toy to our Hot Wheels collection!

Fun concept, but needs some work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves monster trucks. He probably has 50+. He also loves firetrucks, so I thought this would be a perfect toy. He does love the actual monster truck, but the whole product is just ok. It did not work as well as I thought it should. The pull back piece doesn’t have enough power to push the truck up the ramp. The fake fire is too stiff to allow the truck to pass through up the ramp. My son was frustrated with it not working every time

Monstrous fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I open it and start putting it together, I quickly realized that an adult is required to put the pieces together and put the stickers on. After I had everything together I put it on the floor and started to see how it works. Kids will have a lot of fun with this one with the way it crashes and flipping over. It will make you want to get the other ones that connect to it to make the monster truck arena. Lots of fun!

Disappointing but the truck is cool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was super excited to play with this, because he is obsessed with monster trucks. Unfortunately it didn't do at all what it seems it was supposed to do. It didn't actually launch the truck and it didn't come anywhere near knocking over the smash cars. He plays with the truck he plays with the smashed cars but the launcher thing is under a table somewhere.

Great addition to set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This piece was easy to put together and my 7 yr old enjoyed playing with it. It didn't keep his attention too long, but that is because we don't have the other pieces to the set. We are still deciding if this is a set he wants to build up, or if he likes the cars better. He does love the big trucks in this series, but they aren't as versatile as the cars.
