Great for a kid that loves to put things together.
My nephew is very handy putting together kits and he will love this one. I think his father will too. My nephew may grow up to be an engineer and this toy is perfect for him.

Good learning
It would be more educational if what the part does was added to the project. Patience is needed otherwise a part or two may get juxtaposed.
I do not see an option to recomment NOT buying this toy - makes the 100% claim specious.

Favorite gift for 8 yr old
Once this gift discovered, 8 yr old grandson started assembling engine and didn’t open any other gifts! Loved this engine kit so much held in lap to drive home from grandma’s. He is a budding engineer and loves assembling Kiwi kits, etc, invited to robotics team at school. Gas engines may become obsolete but every engineer should understand the concepts of combustion engines says his grandpa. This sturdy kit was perfect.
