This original 1000 piece puzzle was created by the in-house design team at Cobble Hill Puzzles, using classic quilt block designs from the vintage farmstead magazine Hearth and Home. From 1907 to 1912 readers submitted block designs to represent their home states. Cobble Hill's designers had fun creating custom patterns for each block, with nods to state flags, flowers, animals, insects, food, and other state iconography. Featured in the image are 50 squares each designed with elements to highlight the state it represents. Each square block is labeled with the state name. Cobble Hill puzzles are manufactured using the finest inks, premium grade blue board, linen paper, and the most endearing images. Our puzzles feature interesting random-shaped pieces - which are a departure from the more traditional predictable pieces found in most puzzles. No two pieces are alike. We also include a handy poster, making it easier for multiple people to work on the puzzle at the same time. We use quality linen print paper that gives the puzzle a luxurious look and feel. Not only does it look elegant, but it also works to reduce the glare by dispersing the light across the cross hatches much better than a smooth paper finish. We're environmentally friendly in that we use vegetable-based inks, and the cardboard is made from recycled material. Puzzles are sealed in shrink wrap. The box is thick and sturdy, so it can stand the test of time. The Cobble Hill Puzzle Company was founded in 2005 with a desire to bring quality puzzles with a loving, whimsical, and nostalgic feel to jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts and novices.
